Cold Weather Update:

With extremely cold temperatures expected on Saturday, we want to ensure everyone is prepared. The 5K and Kids run will proceed as scheduled, but please plan ahead and dress appropriately for the conditions.

Race Day Timing:

The 5K will begin at 9:30 AM.​

All 10K & 15 Runners will be transferred to the 5K and start at 9:30am
The Kids run has been cancelled.

Additional Options
Run it virtually anytime in December
If you decide not to run this Saturday, there’s a great virtual option.

Join us for a supported run around Lake Harriet next Saturday (see below). Or run it on your own anytime in December.

If you prefer the virtual option, you may switch when you pick up your shirt at Dick’s Sporting Goods in Minnetonka. We will provide your finisher medal at pickup, and you can log your virtual time on our results platform.

Run on December 20 at Lake Harriet (Supported Virtual)
Join us on Saturday, December 20, when temperatures are expected to be in the 20s. We’ll be at the main parking lot from 9:00–11:00 AM, handing out finisher medals to anyone who chooses to run their race that day. The route will follow the bike path around the lake. This will be an untimed race and there will not be support on the course.
*Bib and shirt pick is at Dick's Sporting Goods in Ridgedale Mall Monday, December 8th through Friday, December 12, 12-7 each day.

Reindeer Run Charities

The Salvation Army will be serving free hot chocolate and coffee. Please consider a donation online or bring some spare change to drop in the kettle on race day.
There will be a spot for donating toys for Stuff the Sleigh. Please bring a new, unwrapped toy near the help desk.

Race Village

Race Village including the Help Desk, Will Call, and Shirt pick up is located at Lake Harriet Bandshell and will open at 8:30 a.m.

Single wide strollers are allowed only in the 5K and must start at the back of the corral

Race Bibs

Course Signage​
Make sure your race bib is visible. Wear your race bib on the front of your chest and on the top layer. This will help with our results. You can pick up extra pins at the help desk.
